Registration now open for Rec Dept basketball

Registration is now open for the Pierce County Rec Department’s basketball league. It is open to all skill levels and ages. Registration ends December 1.

Parents can register their kids online at piercecounty.recdesk.com/Community/H ome or at the Rec Dept. office at 725 Ware Street. Please call 912-449-4791 for more information.

Nominations open for Patterson Elementary School Council Patterson Elementary School is currently accepting applications for the 2025–2026 School Council. The council meets four times per academic year, and members serve a two-year term.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to nominate themselves or another individual who would be a strong advocate and representative for Patterson Elementary.

Applications are accepted for two representatives between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. October 27-31. Applications may be submitted at the school’s front desk.

If more than two individuals express interest, an election will be held November 5 at Patterson Elementary School. All parents will be notified in advance.

The first school council meeting is scheduled for November 18.
