Trick-or-Treat will take place Thursday, Oct. 30 in Blackshear City Park. Activities will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Community businesses, downtown merchants and local organizations are asked to set up a tent or a trunk in the park to distribute candy.
A costume contest is planned and there will also be contests for best truck, tent and/or table.
Prize catergories include baby-three years old, 4-8 years old, 9-12 years old and best family/group, tent or table.
The annual downtown event is organized by Blackshear’s Better Hometown (BHT) program.
