HAZLEHURST — Pierce County’s Lady Bears and Bears cross-country teams competed here Thursday in the Three Rivers Cross-Country Classic hosted by Jeff Davis.
The Lady Bears placed 10th in the 13-team girls meet finishing with 265 points. Bleckley County dominated the field scoring just 19 points with five runners finishing eighth or better and all seven members insided the top 13 spots.
The Lady Royals were followed by Frederica Academy (94), Glynn Academy (100), Coffee (104), Brunswick (124), host Jeff Davis (171), Camden County (189), Vidalia (217), Brantley County (263), PCHS (265), Appling County (265), Bacon County (268) and ACE Charter (368).
