Robbie Laster of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office was named county employee of the month for October. Laster (left) is shown with Third District Commissioner Randy Dixon. County Manager Raphel Maddox said a citizen nominated Laster for the award. The citizen reported that she was having a bad day and Laster went out of his way to assist her and to pray for her.
