No Kings rally to be held Oct. 18 The Satilla Democrats are holding a No Kings rally 9 a.m. Saturday, October 18 at 1921 Memorial Drive, Waycross.

This event is open to all including those from Ware, Pierce, Brantley, Bacon, Appling, Atkinson, and Clinch Counties. The rally is one of over 2,400 planned. Come join your friends and neighbors and friends exercising their right to freedom of speech. Daylily Society to meet Oct. 21 The October meeting of the South Georgia Daylily Society will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 21 at First Baptist Church in Blackshear. Please bring a dish to share for dinner.

Mark Deal will be the speaker for the October meeting. He will be speaking on winterizing our gardens. Also, he will be bringing a variety of plants to donate to the club. It will be on a donation (if you want to) to the club. In other words, you can make a donation to the club, if you wish.

We hope to see you all there— and bring a friend!

Memorial Satilla Trunk or Treat, Oct. 25 Memorial Satilla Health will host a Trunk or Treat event 12 - 2 p.m. October 25. Located in the Heart Center parking lot 1900 Tebeau Street, Memorial Satilla invites the public to “bring the whole family for an afternoon of creatively decorated trunks, plenty of candy,and friendly faces.”

Donations sought to help Allen baby Donations are now being accepted for Cody and Donna Allen to assist with medical and travel expenses for their daughter, who was born premature last month.
