WAYCROSS — Southeastern Credit Union has named Jennifer B. Stasio as it’s next President and Chief Executive Officer with the December 31, 2025 retirement of Mike Gudely.
The Board of Directors at Southeastern Credit Union engaged D. Hilton and Associates to conduct a nationwide search for the next President and CEO after Gudley announced his intention to retire at the end of 2025.
“Jennifer and I are working on her transition, which will be effective, officially, January 1, 2026,” Gudely said. “In the transition, I’m giving her most of the year end responsibilities I typically handle. I have withdrawn from decisions effecting anything after December 31, 2025.”
Stasio is currently the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer at Southeastern. She earned both an undergraduate degree and Master’s degree in Accounting. She maintains her status as a CPA.
Stasio recently graduated from the CUES CEO Institute. She has been employed at Southeastern for six years.
Prior to coming to Southeastern, Stasio was the Controller at Pioneer Valley FCU.
Her experience also includes a stint in Public Accounting as an auditor.
“She is well qualified for this leadership role and I look forward to watching her continued success from the golf course,” said Gudely, who is moving back to North Carolina with his wife to be closer to family, which includes grandchildren..
“We are relocating to Wilmington, N.C., where we lived 20 years ago,” he said. “I’m done with work. I’ll be traveling with my wife, which is an ongoing journey we started several years ago.
“In between trips, I’ll be focusing on grandkids, golf, pickleball, senior softball and fishing. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my 12 years at Southeastern and in south Georgia. Its been my pleasure to have met and worked with you.”
