God made room for me

Has there ever been a time when you put God first?

Did you make room for Him and place His request over your own? What was the outcome?

Or have you, like so many others, put your petitions over His wants? There’s always a climate where what God wants should supersede the aim of man. To arrive at that place it’s often times, another level in Him.

In the confines of the place of transformation, it’s no longer passenger seating, but a bonafide copilot instruction designated for your life. Wherever your mission challenges you with a renewed frame of mind, that becomes a place of revival — regeneration — reformation of the fittest.

Then you’ll recite to one another psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. You’ll sing and make music to the Lord with your hearts.

(Ephesians 5:19) It’s the crossing of two points — destiny and purpose. I want to suggest a third point — promise. If you’ve ever been to these intersections destiny/purpose/promise, then you haven’t only made room for Him.

Rest assured in that place where you made room there’s a full itinerary that comes along with the transition. Very simply, what God wanted was addressed by the authentication of your obedience.

He didn’t take what you did lightly as He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Certainly that is a loaded comment but an important one nonetheless. As we unpack such a tall claim, we know this: Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners, and purify yourhearts, ye double-minded. (James 4: 8) The Holy Trinity (God the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost) has been navigating and directing traffic within the life of every believer since the beginning of time. There’s a moment not only are we guided into all truth. Most recognizably, there is a spiritual and natural reciprocity that occurs when we carry out our part in what He requires of us.

Truth serum time again — whatever we do for Him, we do so as unto the Lord. Our natural reaction when we (human nature) do something for someone is that we often want immediate gratification. I wholeheartedly submit to you, our actions can’t be self-motivated, although we may feel triggered.

If so, we’re not designed to move with a self-serving mindset.

Here’s the most important thing — only what we do for Christ will last.

Therein lies a selfless determination.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying: “Oh that thou would bless me indeed and enlarge my border and that thy hand might be with me and that thou would deliver me from evil, that it may not grieve me!” — 1 Chronicles 4: 10

And God granted him that which he requested.

It was with great fortitude, that He turned things around to get rid of your stinky thinking.

To posture your heart towards others, thereby making room, a more expansive footing for ministry.

It doesn’t stop there.

You also are setting the tone to clear the air, for where He is taking you.

In places where He has opened the door to buildpartner- permeate the very territory, He has appointed for you to possess the land.

Because the two have become one. There are a number of charters where He has sanctioned you to go and two are better than one.

Let’s come to terms, you made room for Him.

Likewise, He has brought your union/partnership into an expansive place.

As He has brought you two together into a broader place, your gifts have made room for “one flesh” and placed you before great men.
