HOBOKEN — Hoboken Elementary School was recently named a Title I Distinguished School by the Georgia Department of Eduction.
The GaDOE recognizes the highestperforming five percent of Title I schools in Georgia.
Schools with exceptional academic achievement or improvement, including Comprehensive Support & Improvement (CSI) schools that made progress over the last year, former CSI – graduation rate schools and Targeted Support & Improvement (TSI) schools that exited support identification are recognized Title I Distinguished and Reward Schools.
“I am incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication demonstrated by all the students, teachers, and school communities recognized,” State School Superintendent Richard Woods said.
