ALMA — Ronald E. Davis, 75 of Alma, died Thursday, October 9, 2025 at his residence.
Davis was born in Waycross to the late Reason Davis and Mary Magd aelene Smith Davis and made Alma his home for many years. He worked for D.L Lee Packing in Alma for many years and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed flowers, gardening and especially crafting.
In addition to his parents, Davis is preceded in death by his wife, Flois Carter Davis; three siblings, Glenn Davis, Jimmy Ray Davis and Betty Aldridge.
He is survived by his two daughters, Selena Hickox (Eric) of Waycross and Ada Norton (Charlie) of Waycross; six grandchildren, Austin Whitley (Cheyeann) of Waycross, Hunter Westberry (Skylynn) of Waycross, Lindsey Lashley of Waycross, Abby Holland (Josue), Parker Holland, and Brianna Norton all of Brantley County; six great-grandchildren, Kayden Westberry, Logan Lashley, Brenton Lashley, Sawyer Westberry, Savannah Whitley, Liam Griffin; a brother, Mark Davis of Waycross; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held today (Wednesday, October 15, 2025) at 11:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. at Miles-Odum Funeral Home.
