Clerk robbed at 24-hour store in county

Ware County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are pursing leads on a robbery early Sunday morning at a 24-hour business in Ware County, Major Neil Skerratt said Monday.

The incident occurred about 2:43 a.m. at a business in the 2400 block of Albany Avenue. A female clerk was not harmed in the robbery, Skerratt said.

Patrol Deputy Judah Hodges responded to the location of the business in reference to a report of a robbery. The clerk was able to provide a description of the suspect to Hodges.
