Ben James Primitive Baptist Church to hold luncheon Ben James Primitive Baptist Church will have its 42nd annual fund raising luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, October 11, at the church in Pierce County.
A buffet lunch including fish, chicken, grits (cheese and plain), baked beans, slaw, hush puppies, desserts and coffee, tea and lemonade will be available.
The third annual dessert contest will also be held. Those attending are asked to bring their favorite dessert. Everyone will get a chance to vote in the dessert contest.

Hacklebarney Baptist Church to hold revival Hacklebarney Baptist Church will hold its good news revival Sunday, October 12-Wednesday, October 15. Services on Sunday will be at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday Wednesday services start 7 p.m. JT James will be the revival speaker with special music nightly. Homecoming will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, October 19 with Bro. Monroe Gill as the speaker. Lunch will be provided following the homecoming service. Please invite someone to come with you.
