WAYCROSS — Mrs.
Linda Kirkland Brady, 76, passed away Wednesday evening, October 1, 2025 at Baptist Village Retirement Communities.
Mrs. Brady was born October 27, 1948 in Ware County to the late L.H. Courson and Bertie Iona Carter Courson.
She was employed Brady
by Waycross Health Rehabilitation Center as a bookkeeper for over 20 years. Mrs. Brady was a member of Kettle Creek Church. She was an avid bird watcher who enjoyed traveling to the mountains and going to bluegrass music festivals.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brady was preceded in death by her step-son, Kenneth Jerome Brady, Sr.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Larry E. Brady of Waycross; two daughters, Wendy James (Brian) of Blackshear, and Samantha Toler (Jimmy) of Douglas, Wyoming; grandchildren, Mason James (Lacey) of League City, Texas, Harrison James of Athens, Autumn Toler (Kenny) of Jacksonville, Fla., and Gryphon Toler of Casper, Wyoming; step-children, Larry Dewayne Brady and Sherry Brady Brophy Thornton (Phillip) of Waycross; step-grandchildren, Christian Brady, Nicholas Brady, Ken Brady, Jr. (Casey), Mandy Pitts (Mack), Hiliary Germano (Chris), Shawn Brophy (Kristi), Bryse Brophy, Sr. (Shannon), Aaron Brophy (Deja), Ryan Brophy, Garrett Thornton (Telisa), and Sara Metts (Cody); numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Ronald Courson (Janice) of Blackshear, Paula Reese (Stanley) of Hoboken, Tim Courson (Teresa) of Freeport, Fla., Jeff Courson of Waycross and Teresa Adams of Waycross; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A funeral service was held Sunday, October 5, 2025 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
A private burial was held Monday, October 6 at Waters Cemetery.
