City of Nahunta Trunk or Treat schedule for Thursday, Oct. 30 NAHUNTA — The City of Nahunta will be holding a county-side Trunk or Treat Thursday, October 30 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
The event will be held at 9911 Main Street North.
Brantley County Exchange Club giving away treats October 30 NAHUNTA — The Brantley County Exchange Club will be giving out treats at the Courthouse Gazebo Thursday, October 30 from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
The event is part of the Exchange Club’s child abuse prevention project “Teaching the Children.”
City of Hoboken to hold festivities for Trick or Treat October 30 HOBOKEN — The City of Hoboken will be holding Trick or Treat Thursday, October 30 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m.
There will be activities.
Waynesville VFD’s holding at Haunted House October 23-26 WAYNESVILLE — The Waynesville Volunteer Fire Department Station 4 will host a Haunted House beginning Thursday, October 23 through Sunday, October 26 from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children. There will be carnival games for the children. Cotton candy, popcorn, hotdogs and lemonade will be sold.
Terry Steedly Fundraiser will hold two raffle ticket drawings The Terry Steedley Fundraiser will have two raffle tickets drawn — one for the $5 ticket and the second for the $25 ticket to win up to $2,500.
The $5 ticket drawing prizes are a Traeger Ironwood 885 Pellet Grill and a Henry Golden Boy 22LR. There are two $250 Blue Jay Cattle Marketplace gift cards, five $50 Honey Bun’s Cafe gift cards, a $50 Wainright & Son Meat gift card and a $25 Twin Vogue Boutique gift card.

Waynesville VFD to begin hosting Turkey Shoots each weekend WAYNESVILLE — The Waynesville Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a Turkey Shoot every Friday and Saturday night at Waynesville State 3 beginning Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4.
The cost is $3 per shot and concessions are available. Shot guns available are 12 gauge, 16 gauge, 20 gauge and 410.
BCMS basketball tryouts to be held October 8 thru October 10 CANEY BAY — Brantley County Middle School will be holding threeday basketball tryouts for the 6th-7th grade teams and the 8th-grade teams beginning Wednesday, October 8.
The girls’ tryouts are scheduled for 3;30 p.m.-4:45 p.m., October 8, and 3:30 p.m.-5 p.m. Thursday, October 9 and Friday, October 10.
The boys’ tryouts are scheduled for 4:45 p.m.-6 p.m., October 8, and 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 9 and Friday, October 10.
Students must have a completed physical on file with the BCMS front office to attend tryouts. The gym will be closed to spectators for tryouts and practices.
