WAYROSS — Charles David Sullivan, 82 of Waycross, passed away Monday morning, September 15, 2025 at a nursing facility in Dublin, Ga.
Sullivan was born March 9, 1944 in Jasper, Ala., to David Sullivan and Flora Sullivan. His family moved to the Everglades where he spent most of his life before moving to Waycross in 1985.
Sullivan spent most of his working career as a mechanic. He was a free spirit and a kid at heart.
Sullivan enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors. Hunting and fishing were two of his favorite pasttimes.
He is survived by Linda Atkinson Sullivan, whom he married in 1969; a son, John Sullivan; two daughters, Patricia Waters and Sherry Sullivan; three brothers, Jimmy Sullivan, Gayle Sullivan and Steve Sullivan; a sister, Helene Crowe; six grandchildren and five great grand children; several nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of friends.
Arrangements were with Serenity Funeral Home in Dublin, Ga.
