Breast Cancer Awareness Month Reception to be held

Memorial Satilla Health will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Month Reception, Thursday, October 2, at 6 p.m. in the Main Lobby, 1900 Tebeau Street, Waycross. Join us for guided tours of the 3D Mammography Suite, treatment updates from the medical team and a Survivor Recognition Ceremony. The event will include refreshments and prizes.

Camp Hope to help grieving youth Oct. 4

Camp Hope, a free grief camp for kids and teens ages 6–18, will take place Saturday, October 4. Help a young person take a step toward healing.

Camp Hope offers a safe, supportive space for children and teens who are grieving. Registration is required. Please call 912-285-2340 to register or for more information.

Donations sought to help Allen baby

Donations are now being accepted for Cody and Donna Allen to assist with medical and travel expenses for their daughter, who was born premature last month. Please make checks payable to Shirley Lee.
