The South Georgia Healthcare Group (SGHG) Scholarship is accepting applications from now until November 30.
The scholarship is open to all high school and college students in the Southern Georgia Regional Commission area which includes Pierce County. The scholarship is intended for students pursuing health care related education.
Criteria for high school seniors: ▪ An enrolled high school senior.
▪ Will attend a post-secondary institution within the area of Region 11.
▪ Submit a completed application.
▪ Provide a current high school transcript.
▪ Submit the requested essay as directed.
▪ Submit the Parental Consent Form for Minor. The consent form may be accessed at .
Criteria for Post-Secondary Students: ▪ Enrolled in a post-secondary healthcare program or pathway and is at least 18 years of age.
▪ Is attending a postsecondary institution within the area of Region 11.
▪ Submit a completed application.
▪ Provide a current transcript.
▪ Provide a letter of acceptance into a healthcare program.
▪ Submit the requested essay as directed.
