Pierce County Middle School closed out its regular season splitting the final two home games.
Pierce Middle’s “A” Lady Bears doubled up Coffee Middle 8-4 Monday, September 22.
PCMS’s “B” outlasted Coffee Middle 9-6 to close out its schedule Monday, September 22.
The Lady Bears finished with a 9-6 loss Thursday, September 25 to visiting Bacon County Middle School.
The conference tournament begins this week. No information has been released.

BEARVILLE — Pierce Middle’s London Sweet tossed a four-inning no-hitter in beating the Lady Trojans.
Sweet (4 IP, 0 H, 4 R, 1 ER, 0 K, 3 BB) went the distance. PCMS turned a 1-0 deficit around with seven-run third inning. Two errors led the way for Coffee Middle’s first inning run.
After the Lady Trojans scored three times in the top of the fourth to cut the lead to 7-4 on a two-run sacrifice fly and bases loaded walk, PCMS plated a run in the bottom of the fourth for the final margin.
Sadie Warren reached on a leadoff miscue and raced home on Ryleigh Taylor’s (2-for-3) one-out double.

BEARVILLE — PCMS spotted Coffee Middle a 4-0 lead before rallying for the win in five innings.
The Lady Trojans scored four times in its first at bat with Pierce Middle responding with an eightrun uprising in the bottom of the frame.
Coffee Middle pulled to within 8-6 in the second inning on a runscoring single and an error.
Pierce Middle scored its final run in the bottom of the inning.

BEARVILLE — The Lady Red Raiders jumped out to a 5-0 lead and pulled away from a 5-4 advantage with a four-run seventh to beat PCMS.
The Lady Bears chipped away scoring twice in the fourth and sixth innings to get to with 5-4.
The Lady Red Raiders followed with a four-run uprising to stretch the lead to 9-4.
PCMS answered with two runs in the bottom of the seventh doing all the damage after two outs and nobody on base.
