Wendy Renae Morgan, 47, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at her residence in Blackshear, following an extended illness.
Born in Blackshear, she was the daughter of William J. Grant and Belinda Joyce Manders Grant. She was known for her freewill and strong spirit. She enjoyed fishing, riding dirt roads and spending quiet moments watching butterflies from her swing. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and beloved pets.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, Wendell Courson Connell; her grandparents, Paul and Lorraine Manders, Arland Lee, Lloyd Grant and Loyd and Jean Moore along with special friends, Stacia Rowe, Teresa Gunter and Billy Norris.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Morgan Sr. of Blackshear; three children, Luke Clayton Pittman (Bryonna) and LeAnna Joyce Rowe, all of Blackshear, and the baby of her heart, Parker; four step-children, Katie Lane (Matt), Waycross, Curtis Morgan Jr. of Maryland, Tabbatha Byrd (Tony) of California and Kimberly Morgan, Waycross; one grandson, Zauge Pittman; six step-grandchildren; her parents, William and Belinda Grant, Blackshear; one brother, Hoke Grant (Jenny), Blackshear; her grandmother, Vernell Beverly Lee, Waycross and numerous cousins and extended family.
Visitation will be from 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, from the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
