Elton Gerald Raulerson, 80, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Born in Jacksonville, FL September 15, 1945, he was a 1964 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. In 1985 he married the love of his life, Ethel. He would go on to retire from Merita Bakery as a Computer Operator. He loved to fish and spend time with his family. His deep faith in Jesus was evident by his long-time membership at First Baptist Church Downtown in Jacksonville.
In addition to his parents, Delmus Dyer and Myrtle Catherine Meeks Raulerson, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ariel King.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Ethel Mae Raulerson; a brother, Mark (Marylou) Raulerson; a daughter, Kimberly Raulerson; a son, Gerald Allen (Shannon) Raulerson; step-sons, James (Angela) Knight and Stephen King; grandchildren, Makayla Guinn, Colin Raulerson, Emily Raulerson, Mathew Knight, Maegan (Clifford) Garey, Katelyn King, Grace King and Noelle King; great-grandchildren, Ezra, Eliah and Silas Garey and several other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside services celebrating his life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 29, from the Laura Chapel Cemetery in Patterson with the Rev. Tim Rigdon officiating.
