Antioch Baptist has 155th anniversary Historic First African Antioch Baptist Church, Inc., 615 Knight Avenue, celebrates its 155th anniversary with a special worship program at 3 p.m., Sunday, October 19.
Guest speaker is Pastor Alonzo Scott with his congregation at Big Bethel Freewill Baptist Church the special guests.
Theme of the celebration is “A Legacy of Faith and Service: Honoring Our Past and Embracing Our Future: A Church Built on the Solid Rock.”

90th birthday party for Smith
Family and friends of Marylou Smith will hold a party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday October 11 to celebrate her 90th birthday.
