4-H fundraiser brings fresh fall produce to town

Pierce County 4-H is holding its Fall Fundraiser by offering a box of fresh fall produce. Orders are being accepted now until Nov. 7. Produce boxes will be delivered the week of Nov. 17 with the exact date to be announced.

Each produce box includes an assortment of seasonal vegetables. Contents will vary, but will include bell peppers, cucumbers, zucchini and yellow squash, corn, green beans, jalapeños and cabbage.

Boxes are perishable—if not picked up, they will be donated locally. Those ordering can purchase boxes for themselves or donate a box which will be distributed by Pierce County 4-H to families and organizations in need.
