Students talk about FFA activities

José Gomez (fourth from left) of the Ware County FFA Chapter and Anna Grace Hunter (third from left) of the Colquitt County FFA Chapter, both Georgia FFA Association vice presidents, were special guests at a recent Ware County Exchange Club meeting. They each talked about the year they have served, fascinating events they have been involved in and were looking forward to attending the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., where nearly 60,000 FFA members are expected to attend. The pair shared Georgia has the third largest FFA Association in the country behind only Texas and California. Pictured are (l-r) President Kirby McSwain, August Program Chair Roger Collins, Hunter, Gomez, President-elect Danny Bartlett, Young Farmer teacher Eric Hickox, and Ware County Ag teacher and FFA Advisor James Renshaw.
