Chris McClellan (center) recently was honored by Unison Behavioral Health for 20 years of service with the organization. McClellan began his career with Unison in 2005 as a Registered Nurse in the Brantley County and Charlton County outpatient clinics. A year later, he transitioned to the Ware Adult Outpatient Clinic, where he provided care to behavioral health clients, coordinated HIV testing in the community, and offered support at the Ware County Jail. In 2016, McClellan assumed a consultant role, providing leadership and guidance to outpatient nursing staff while continuing his vital work in jail services and HIV testing. During the coronavirus pandemic, McClellan stepped up to assist with nursing needs at Unison’s Crisis Stabilization Unit. Most recently, in 2023, he expanded his services to include the Brantley and Pierce County Jails. Throughout his two decades of service, McClellan has demonstrated unwavering compassion, professionalism, and commitment to client care. His leadership and dedication have made a lasting impact on the individuals and communities Unison serves.
