Lady Herons fall to Glynn Acad., take series from No. 3 Bacon Co.

Brantley County split four games with the two victories coming at thirdranked Region 1A foe Bacon County for the series win.

The Lady Herons (8-7 overall, 7-3 region), who entered the Top 10 rankings prior to the week at No. 10, fell from the September 8 poll Monday after a suffering 7-5 loss at home to Class AA Coffee Tuesday, September 2.

BCHS then fell 7-4 at Class 5A Glynn Academy Monday, September 8 and followed with a 4-2 setback in eight innings at home to the Lady Red Raiders (13-2, 12-2) Tuesday, September 9 in the three-game series opener.
