Four teenagers were arrested in Florida last week in connection to a rash of armed vehicle burglaries in Pierce County, including one in which the suspects shot at a homeowner.
According to Sheriff Ramsey Bennett, Youseph Xavier Robinson, 18, Lucas Neria Rebolledo, 17, Dwayne Curtis Ryan and Gavyn Bruce Sillman have been identified as suspects in the case.
The four were arrested Friday, Sept. 5, in Suwannee County, FL. Suwannee County is about two hours south of Pierce County between Valdosta and Gainesville, FL and west of Tallahassee, FL.
Robinson and Re- Robinson
boledo waived extradition and are now being held in the Pierce County Jail. Ryan and Sillman are currently being held in the Suwannee County, FL, jail awaiting extradition proceedings.
According to the sheriff, the four, all of Live Oak, FL, drove to Blackshear and committed a string of felonies in the early morning hours of Monday, Sept. 1.
The quartet alleged entered autos in the area near Pierce County High School, stealing money and guns. At one of the residences, one of the four shot at a home owner that confronted them. The four then fled back to Live Oak.

“What they didn’t understand was the reach of the long arm of the law,” said Sheriff Bennett.
Deputies immediately responded and were able to get a tag number and description from a witness and the chase was on.
“Even though the four thought they had successfully got away with their crime, what they didn't know is that deputies from the Office of the Sheriff, Pierce County, were hot on their trail.”
The call was received by the Office of the Sheriff, Pierce County at 4:15 a.m. Monday, Sept. 1 and by 10:36 p.m. that evening Suwanee County FL had the first suspect in custody.
“In 18 hours and 21 minutes what looked like a successful crime spree had melted away and the grim reality had set in,” said the sheriff.
Shortly thereafter the other three suspects were also arrested.
“I would like to personally thank Suwanee County (FL) Sheriff Sam St. John and his fine team of deputies for their swift response. The teamwork of deputies and sheriffs across state lines was flawless and made solving this case easy,” Bennett said.
