Lady Bears split region affairs with Crisp County, No. 1 Cook

Seventh-ranked Pierce County split a pair of Region 3-AA matchups posting a road win and falling at home.

The Lady Bears (10-6, overall, 2-1 region) blanked Crisp County (38, 0-3) 11-0 Tuesday, September 9 in Cordele, handing the Lady Cougars an eighth consecutive loss.

Top-ranked Cook (15-1, 4-0) notched a seventh consecutive victory handing PCHS an 11-3 loss in five innings. The Lady Hornets beat second- ranked Appling County 3-1 two nights earlier at home.
