Pierce County Middle School rolled to a pair of Southeast Georgia Middle School Athletic Conference softball routs.
The Lady Bears hammered visiting Ware County Middle School 204 in three innings Monday, September 8. They followed with a 11-2 decision Thursday, September 11 in Baxley against Appling County Middle School.
PCMS will host Bacon County Middle School Thursday, September 18 at 4 p.m.

BEARVILLE — The Lady Bears spotted Ware County a 4-0 first inning lead before erupting for 18 runs in the second to win going away.
Following a quiet first inning, PCMS sent 22 batters to the plate in its second trip to the plate. The Lady Bears had 18 consecutive batters reach after the second out.
Pierce Middle banged out nine hits in the uprising with Sadie Warren (2for-3), Cadence Coldren (3-for-4) and London Sweet (2-for-3) collecting two hits apiece. Miranda Howard (1-for-2), Warren and Coldren drove in three runs apiece in the inning.
Ryleigh Taylor (1-for-2) had an RBI single during the rally as did Skylar Whitaker (1-for-2), who led off the inning and batted three times. Korlee Harrelson drew a bases loaded walk.

BAXLEY — Pierce Middle scored in five of its seven trips to the plate in knocking off the Lady Rams.
The Lady Bears set the scoring in motion with a run in the first. PCMS plated three runs in the third.
The Lady Bears added a run in the fifth to lead 5-2.
They added four runs in the sixth to open up a 9-2 advantage.
Harrelson ripped a runscoring double and Sweet a run-scoring single in the seventh for the final ninerun margin.
