Cord of Three Counseling Services will host its 18th Annual Fore the Family Golf Tournament Saturday, September 20, at Lakeview Golf Course in Blackshear. Sponsors and participants will take to the fairways to invest in families in the community.
Since 2007, the Fore the Family Golf Tournament has made a significant impact in supporting families in the communities. The public is welcome to join supporters and partners who gather for a day of golf and fellowship.
The Cord of Three 2025 Fore the Family Golf Tournament is a way to help Pass the Baton of generational faith to middle school - college age students and their families. Today’s youth are navigating a pivotal season of life, one that shapes their character and faith. Many of them are living with brokenness. This event will help provide the emotional and spiritual help they need to stand firm in their faith and futures. All proceeds from this tournament are used to help Cord of 3 in our mission of strengthening families.
Fore the Family is a four-man scramble golf tournament held at Lakeview Golf Course, 510 Golf Course Rd, Blackshear, GA 31516. The schedule is as follows: 7:30 a.m. - Breakfast, 8:30 a.m. - Shotgun Start ~ 4-Man Scramble, 12:30 - Lunch/Awards “The families served at Cord of 3 come to us for many different reasons. Regardless of why they come, Cord of 3 helps them navigate through whatever spiritual and emotional concerns they may be facing. We rely on the commitment and investment of partners— through time and finances— to change lives,” said Clay Gill of Cord of 3.
“We always look forward to the Cord of 3 golf tournament,” shared one returning golfer. “It’s more than just a fun day on the course—it’s a way to support the important work Cord of 3 is doing right here in our community.”
This year’s tournament ties into Cord of 3’s 2025 theme, “Passing the Baton of Generational Faith.” As Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” “That’s our heart—to equip and encourage the next generation in faith.” Join us for a day of golf, good weather, and great fellowship as we build something lasting together.
