Former President and Georgia native Jimmy Carter will be honored with a commemorative stamp by the U.S. Postal Service.
The postal service plans to release the stamp for purchase starting Oct. 1 on what would have been former President Carter’s 101st birthday.
President Carter, a native of Plains, died Dec. 29, 2024, at the age of 100.
