Eula Mae Harris Lyons

Our loving mother, Eula Mae Harris Lyons, 91, entered into her eternal home with Jesus Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Mrs. Lyons was born September 12,1933 to the late Seaborn “Brantley” and Ethel Gertie Hickox Harris. She was a faithful member and prayer warrior of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lyons was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Herbert C. Lyons; grandson, Bert C. Lyons; son-in-law, Paul D. Thomas; sister, Mavis Beaver; and brother, J.E. Harris.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Flowers (Eugene) and Bonnie Thomas; three sons, Dale C. (Diane) Lyons, Clark (Mary) Lyons and Tony (Betty Jo) Lyons all of Hickox, 13 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other family members that loved her dearly.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Wainright and Rev. Tom Kennedy officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service starting at 10 a.m., at Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta.

Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Michael Flowers, Bradley Thomas, James Lyons, Tommy Lyons, Robert Thomas and Christopher Lyons.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons-in-law, Jason Wainright, Bo Lloyd, Derek Johnson, Bubba Mercier, Derek Roberson and David Strickland.

A very special thank you to all the workers of Hospice Satilla for all their support, prayers, and love during this time.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice Satilla; 808 Evergreen Way, Waycross, GA 31501.

Frye Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
