WAYNESVILLE — Contestants from Brantley and surrounding counties competed for the Miss Brantley County title with nine being crowned.
Southern Crowns Company (SCC) hosted the Saturday, August 30 event at the Hunter Barn in Waynesville.
Contestants competed in beauty and community service donation. The winners were; Baby Miss Chantelle Pancheo, Tiny Miss - Nani Scrivens, Little Miss - Remni Easton, Young Miss - Emma James Mattox, Junior Miss - Jasmin Griffin, Teen Miss - Harper Larson, Miss -Elizabeth Johnson and Ms. - Darla Smith.
Community Service is a huge part of pageantry SCC has brought back to the local level. The contestants were required to bring one item to donate to local teachers in Brantley County.
The contestant bringing the most items was crowned Miss Hospitality Queen. In total over 2,430 items were collected.
Kimberly Jacobs was crowned Miss Brantley County Hospitality Queen as a part of the court.
Southern Crowns Company is hosting Miss Southeastern Georgia Sunday, November 2 in Brunswick.
