Aglow Lighthouse will meet for an in house luncheon and speaker meeting Saturday, Sept.
13-- The event will be held in the fellowship hall of Our Beloved Church, 1700 Osceola Avenue, Waycross. The meeting begins 10 a.m. Please contact Melanie Hauner, Irene Arnold or Rosalind Eskew so an accurate count can be determined.
Cathy Barnum of Waycross will be sharing her spiritual journey. She was born and raised in Queens, New York and grew up as a Roman Catholic. After completing college in the 1980s, she eventually moved south in 1990. Barnum is also the proud mother of one daughter and has two grandchildren. After a traumatic family event, she came to know the Lord Jesus in October 1993-- She is excited to share about her journey and testify to God's goodness. Through the years Barnum Barnum has ministered in various capacities of service to the Lord. In 2016, she partnered with Remnant Church in Waycross and currently leads a small home group which is studying how to pray the names of God. This study has been a rich growing experience, bringing attendees to a new level in their relationship with the Lord.
