Rotary District Governor Terry Adkins visited the Blackshear Rotary Club last week and gave a brief overview of Rotary’s history as the first ‘social networking’ organization. Adkins reminded members of the club’s primary purpose as a networking and social opportunity for members, coupled with their commitment to community service projects. Adkins also provided info on an upcoming opioid awareness/ education project grant that will open later this month. The Blackshear Club intends to apply for the funds.
