Zach Cox of Pierce County’s maintenance department was named county employee of the month for September. Cox (left) is shown with County Chairman Neal Bennett. Code Inspector Chris Bond said that Cox goes “above and beyond”. It was also noted that Cox doesn’t just wait for work orders to come in, he is proactive in looking for problem areas and correcting them before they become issues.
