Cason
WAYCROSS — Mr. Tony Lee Cason, 78, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Lake City VA Medical Center following an extended illness.
Cason was born in Waycross to the late Julius Marvin Cason and Katie Morris Cason. He was a 1965 graduate of Ware County High School and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Cason retired in 2009 as an electrician from Harold Smith Electric and had formerly worked with Kammerer Electric for a number of years. He was also a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church on Lee Ave.
Cason is survived by his neighbor and friend, Michael Cady of Waycross; and cousin, Hansel Lee Cason of Florida.
Memorialization will be by cremation. His remains will be interred at Greenlawn Cemetery.
