Special to the WJH Mark Smith, Plant Ops team member at Memorial Satilla Health, was recently honored with the Sunflower Award for extraordinary team members.
“Mark is so remarkable and a positive influence to our team. We love Mark!” said one coworker.
“Every day he goes above and beyond, working with a smile to manage duties big or small, to ensure a safe operable environment for staff and patient care. Mark promptly responds to the calls for assistance and is well respected by his colleagues,” said another team member.
Smith has been a member of our team for one year. He lives in Blackshear.
The Sunflower Award is presented quarterly to a non-clinical team member.
