The Okefenokee Heritage Center held a reception Sunday, August 17, for local artist Ray Sirmons (second from left) to celebrate his gallery showing. Pictured with Sirmons are (l-r) Art Gallery Director Bob Brown, Sirmons Art Guild Chair Susan Newman, and Executive Director Carla Cornette. Over 75 friends, family and community members attended the event. “Ray was humbled by the outpouring of love and support,” said OHC Executive Director Carla Cornett.
