Ware County’s Lady Gators suffered three losses in three games with road losses at Camden County and Long County, and a home setback to visiting Glynn Academy.
The Lady Gators (3-8) were run-ruled in an 11-3 loss Monday, August 25 against the Lady Wildcats. Ware County fell 5-2 Wednesday, August 27 to the Lady Blue Tide. The Lady Terrors followed with a 4-1 victory Thursday, August 28.
Ware County is scheduled to host Brantley County Thursday, September 4.
The Lady Gators travel to Columbus Friday to play in the two-day Northside-Columbus tournament. Ware County is scheduled to play King’s Ridge Christian and Decatur in two of its three games.

KINGSLAND — Camden County broke a 2-all tie with a run in the second and pulled away with a five-run third to beat the Lady Gators.
Ware County did not help itself committing six errors leading to just three earned runs. Kayleigh LeMay (2.1 IP, 5 H, 8 R, 0 ER, 0 K, 1 BB) and Mattie Forsyth (2 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 0 K, 1 BB) toed the rubber for the Lady Gators.
A two-out, two-run double by Forsyth (1-for-2) in the top of the first inning gave Ware County its only lead at 2-0. Ashlyn Jacobs (1-for-3) lined a oneout walk with Amberley Padgett following with a five-pitch walk. Forsyth hit the ensuing pitch to right-center scoring both.
Camden County evened the score at 2-apiece in the bottom of the first scoring both runs on a one-out error. The Lady Wildcats grabbed the lead for good at 3-2 in the bottom of the second scoring the go-ahead run on a two-out passed ball that followed an error.
Four consecutive one-out errors helped extend the lead to 72. A two-out, run-scoring fielder’s choice capped Camden County’s five-run eruption and a six-run advantage.
Ware County chased home its final run in the fourth on backto- back doubles by LeMay (2for-2) and Kara Coleman (1-for-1) to get to within 8-3.
Camden County ended the game in the bottom of the fifth scoring three times scoring on a one-out double and a game-ending two-run homer.

LUDOWICI — The Lady Blue Tide rallied for three runs in the third inning overcoming a 1-0 deficit en route to turning back Ware County.
Seven errors by the Lady Gators led to four unearned runs for Long County. LeMay (6 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 1 ER, 4 K, 0 BB, 4 WP) went the distance needing just 71 pitches.
After stranding one (Kallie Lairsey; 2-for-2) over the first two innings, Ware County broke a scoreless tie in the third inning with a run. Cassidy Lee (1-for-3) reached on a one-out, infield hit. After Ella Musgrove’s sacrifice bunt, Jacobs (1-for-4) lined a two-out, 1-0 pitch to left-center for a double plating Lee.
The Lady Blue Tide capitalized on three Ware County defensive miscues in the bottom of the inning to build a 3-1 advantage. Back-to-back errors to start the inning were followed by a run-scoring single tying the score at 1-each.
An ensuing ground out gave Long County a 2-1 lead. The final error followed allowing the third run of the frame.
The Lady Blue Tide extended the margin to 4-1 in the bottom of the fifth. Consecutive singles got the inning started. A one-out error scored the lead runner from second.
Ware County scored just one run in the sixth after loading the bases with one out. Padgett drew a leadoff walk with Forsyth ( (1-for-3) following with a single. LeMay’s ensuing sacrifice bunt moved the runners into scoring position.
Following Lairsey getting hit by a pitch to load the bases, Coleman (1for-2) lifted a 1-1 pitch to right scoring Padgett to cut the deficit to 4-2.
The Lady Blue Tide got the run right back in the bottom of the inning. A leadoff single and consecutive wild pitches moved the runner to third. A groundout plated the run for a three-run advantage.

Visiting Glynn Academy scored single runs in the second and third inning and plated two insurance runs in the seventh to beat the Lady Gators.
The Lady Red Terrors’ second inning run came courtesy of an error. A one-out single, stolen base and sacrifice fly moved the runner to third. A two-out error allowed the run to score for a 1-0 lead.
Glynn Academy’s run in the third also scored with two outs. A one-out double was followed by a two-out, run-scoring single for a 2-0 lead.
The Lady Gators left Lee (2-for-3) stranded in the third when she reached on a two-out single. Lairsey (1-for-3) was left standing in the fourth following her two-out single.
Ware County plated its lone run in the fifth. Coleman (1-for-3) lined a leadoff triple to right with LeMay battling back from an 0-2 hole with an eight-pitch walk. Addi Pittman (1-for-3) grounded into a run-scoring fielder’s choice groundout scoring Coleman pulling the Lady Gators to within 2-1.
The Lady Terrors scored twice in the seventh after loading the bases with one out on two singles and a walk. A run-scoring single scored the first run. A two-out single drove home the second.
Ware County put two runners on bringing the tying run to the plate in the bottom of the inning. Coleman reached on a one-out error with Pittman lining a two-out single ahead of the final out.
