Christa Reid McDonald of Blackshear has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations for Waycross Bank & Trust.

She is a dynamic, driven, and motivating leader with a servant’s heart and we are thrilled to recognize her accomplishments and leadership.” A Wayc ross native, McDonald graduated from Waycross High School and went on to receive a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia. Following college, McDonald began her banking career and worked for various financial institutions in the Charlotte area before returning to South Georgia.
McDonald joined WB&T in 2017. “She has played an integral role in the optimization of the bank’s operations,” says Russell. “Her technical knowledge, determination and push for efficiency has helped propel WB&T’s product offerings and her welcoming demeanor is well received by customers.”
