Bowen Family
Descendants of Mark and William Hendry Bowen are invited to attend the annual Bowen family reunion Sunday, Sept. 7.
The reunion will be held at the First Baptist Church MAC Building, 670 East Main Street, Blackshear. The MAC building is the gray building behind the church. Dinner will be served at 1 p.m.
Descendants, family and friends are invited to attend.
Attendees are asked to bring a favorite covered dish of their choice: meat, vegetable or dessert and serving utensils. Drinks, ice, cups, paper products and eating utensils will be furnished.
All are welcome to attend church services and then join the family for food and fun.

Dixon Family
Descendants of A.J. (Andrew Jackson) and Jessie Gertrude Bryan Dixon are invited to attend the Dixon Family reunion September 13.
The event will be held at the Grace Community Center on Grace Street in Screven.
The event begins 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring your favorite dishes and any family pictures for others to copy or take pictures of with their phones.
Come early and enjoy meeting with family and friends you haven’t seen in years. Many are looking forward to seeing lots of new faces.
