Memorial Satilla maternity class, Sept. 15
Memorial Satilla will have maternity classes to help families prepare for childbirth and life after a new baby arrives.
Maternity classes will be held September 15 in the Birthing Center Conference Room (third floor).
The class includes a tour of Memorial Satilla’s state-of-the art Birthing Center at 1900 Tebeau Street Waycross.
Memorial Satilla Heartburn to Health event, Sept. 19
Does heartburn keep you up at night? Memorial Satilla Health will host Heartburn to Health, Friday, September 19, at 12 pm at the Hospital Annex, 1800 Alice St., Waycross.
Come hear Dr. David Wykstra and Dr. Sigismund Lee, general surgeons with Memorial Satilla Specialists – Advanced Surgery, discuss surgery preparation and what to expect during recovery.

AmVets to meet monthly
The C.C. Stephens Amvets Post 621 will meet the second Saturday of each month at the post on Ossie Davis Parkway in Waycross. Amvets is open to retired veterans in the area.
