Wood you look at that? Shown above is a minor curiosity noticed recently on West Central Avenue in Blackshear. The tree itself is long gone, cut down as part of an ongoing project to clean up one of the nearby homes, but one piece of it is still hanging on for dear life. Suspended high above the side of the street, the top of one branch had grown into the cable running from one power pole to another.
