20 Brantley Countians earn SGSC honors

Twenty Brantley Countians were among the 360 South Georgia State College students to earn a spot on the Summer 2025 Academic Recognition Lists, according to an announcement by Vice President for Academic & Student Affairs, Sara Selby.

There were three students named to the President’s List, one to the Dean’s List, and 16 on the Academic Honors List.

Making the President’s List were April Hendren, Mariana L. O’Berry and Lenora L. Rowe.

Students enrolled in 12 or more semester hours of study with a grade point average of 4.0 are placed on the President’s List for the semester.

Zoey Z. Johnson earned a spot on the Dean’s List.

Students with a semester average of 3.5 to 3.9 on 12 or more semester hours of study are placed on the Dean’s List for that semester.

Named to the Academic Honor’s List were Katie L. Altman, Alli C. Brooks, Taylor R. Crews, Macayla A. Dunsmore, Trace Green, Jordan Harper, Alexis Harper, Maggie Harris, Marla Johns, Jesalyn J. Keene, Mikayla P. Kersey, Madison Lane, Garrett W. Musgrove, Traci Spell, Belinda A. Todd and Ada F. Whitehurst.

Students enrolled in 5 to 11 semester hours of study with a grade point average of 3.5 or better are listed on the Academic Honors List for that semester.
