Brantley County’s volleyball team enjoyed a successful week winning four of six matches across three playing dates including three of four home matches.
The Lady Herons (8-13) hosted Class 5A Bradwell Institute and Class 3A Long County Monday, August 25 garnering a split.
BCHS knocked off the Lady Tigers winning 1525, 25-22, 15-10. The Lady Blue Tide recorded their second three-set victory of the season against Brantley County winning 25-23, 22-25, 15-10. Long County won the August 18 meeting at home.
The Lady Herons traveled to Pembroke for an Area 3 doubleheader against host Bryan County and Vidalia. The Lady Redskins prevailed in three sets winning 25-17, 22-25, 15-11. Brantley County picked up a second sweep of the Lady Squaws winning 25-18, 25-22. The Lady Herons beat Vidalia August 14.
BCHS wrapped up the week hosting Bryan County and McIntosh County Academy Thursday, August 28 in Area 3 action.
The Lady Herons overcame a one-set deficit rallying for a 15-25, 25-20, 15-11 win against the Lady Redskins. BCHS downed the Lady Bucs 25-19, 25-16.
Brantley County hosted Liberty County Tuesday, September 2. The Lady Herons travel Thursday, September 4 to Savannah for Area 3 matchups with Savannah High and host Savannah Classical Academy.
BCHS visits Adel Tuesday, September 9 to face host Cook and Brooks Academy. The Lady Herons go back to Savannah Thursday, September 11 to matchup against host Savannah Christian and Savannah Country Day in Area 3 matches.
