There’s no telling what might be hiding in the woods! Thankfully, it was just an old barn. Earlier this year, as a lot was being cleared along Ware Street Extension, the two-story structure emerged from the woods adjacent to a field still being used for cultivation. While an adjoining structure had collapsed, the main building was mostly intact. The picturesque ruin is just another reminder that we never know what the woods might be hiding, especially old pieces of history.
