William Loring Crowell II

William Loring Crowell II, 41, of Blackshear, passed away suddenly Friday night, August 22, 2025, at his residence.
Born May 27, 1984, in New Haven, Connecticut, he was a son of Debra Handel Crowell and the late William Loring Crowell Sr. He grew up in West Haven, CT and graduated with honors from West Haven High School in 2002. He obtained his CDL license and had been a semi operator and a tow truck driver.  He’d also worked various security jobs through the years before moving to Pierce County in 2021. He had worked as a Pierce County 911 Dispatcher, a job he enjoyed having opportunities to assist others in times of need.
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donna Handel and his paternal grandparents, Don and Marie Crowell.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Argus Crowell, Blackshear; two sons, Carter John Crowell and Gunner William Crowell; mother, Debra Handel Crowell; sister, Sarah Sam Crowell Perez; maternal grandfather, Victor Handel; two aunts, Darcy Handel and Donna Marie Handel Grande and many other loving relatives and friends.
All services will be private.
