Sheila Denise Ervin Boyett, 76, of Waycross, passed away Friday, August 15, 2025, at Twin Oaks Convalescent Center in Alma.
Born in Gastonia, NC May 26, 1949, she lived in New Smyrna Beach then Bunnell, Florida prior to moving to Waycross in 1999. While in Florida, she worked for AT&T as an operator but since moving to Ware County she had been a homemaker. She loved to sing and had been very active in church (First Baptist Church – Bunnell) especially working with the GA’s. She also loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with her friends.
She was a daughter of the late Robert Grier and Lucille Brown Ervin. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie Boyett.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Ronald Erwin Boyett, Waycross; a daughter, Chris Roden, St. Augustine; a son, Ronald Erwin Boyett, II, Deland, FL; a sister, Susie Wisniowski, Port Orange, FL; a brother, Bobby (Cathy) Ervin, Deland; seven grandchildren, Paige (Scott) Fenton, Tiffany (Rickey) Smith, Chase (Kenny) Otero, Emma Boyett, Maggie Boyett, Trey Boyett and Grace Roden; four great-grandchildren, Nathan Parrish, Mason Parrish, Waylynn Parrish and Avery Otero and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will have a service celebrating her life at a later date.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
