Brantley County lost its Region 1A opening series to Thomasville falling once at home and splitting a doubleheader.
The Lady Herons (1-4 overall, 1-2 region) dropped a tough 3-1 decision Tuesday, August 12 to visiting Thomasville (3-1, 1-0) in the opener of the three game series.
The two teams split the Thursday, August 14 twinbill in Thomasville. BCHS posted a 6-1 victory in eight innings in the opener with the Lady Bulldogs taking the nightcap, 7-6.
