Tatum
BLACKSHEAR — Tina Thrift Tatum, 55 of Blackshear, died Tuesday evening, August 12, 2025 at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.
Mrs. Tatum was born in Waycross to Wayne A. Thrift, Sr. and Reb ecca Hagen Thrift. She made Waycross her home for all of her life.
Mrs. Tatum was a homemaker who had a gift for cooking, especially her grandmother’s recipes. She enjoyed shopping, watching TV and singing gospel music.
Mrs. Tatum is preceded in death by an infant son, Zachary L. White.
She is survived by her husband, Corbitt Tatum of Blackshear; her daughter, Bethany Morgan and husband Brett of Hoboken; her stepdaughter, Tiffany Helms and husband Jake Leverett of Daytona Beach, Fla.; granddaughter, Brenleigh Morgan; three step grandchildren, Anna Marie Helms, Kristina Helms and Teagan Helms; her parents, Wayne A. Thrift, Sr. and Rebecca Thrift; her brother, Wayne A. Thrift, Jr. and wife Beth of Waycross; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A graveside service was held Friday, August 15, 2025 in Oakland Cemetery.
