Michael Ray ‘Pappy’ Price

HOBOKEN – Michael Ray “Pappy” Price, 75 of Hoboken passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025.

Born in Statesboro, Price’s parents were Troy Price and Iris Price. He is also preceded in death by a stepson, Michael Ray; and a brother, Robert Price.

Price was a carpenter and served in the United States Air Force National Guard during the Vietnam War. He loved his grandchildren, fishing, riding his lawnmower, cooking ribs and listening to John Pride. Price loved his job as a carpenter and riding motorcycles.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Price of Hoboken; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott Price (Jamie) of Richmond Hill; two daughters, Tiffany Price Evans of Richmond Hill and Kelsey Price of Boise, Idaho; a stepson, Joe Ray of Florida; several grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis Price of Effingham County and Larry Price of Hinesville; two sisters, Sherry Halliday of Darien and Cylinda Lyons of Brunswick; his TMC family in Tennessee; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
